Important notice
By decision of 30 October 2003 (see page 531), the Administrative Council of the European Patent Organisation has adjusted the amount of the international search fee. For PCT applications filed as from 1 January 2004 an enhanced international search system will apply (see page 574). With this new system the EPO is providing PCT applicants with additional services; hence the Council's decision to set the international search fee at EUR 1 550. The new amount will apply to applications filed as from 1 January 2004 for which the EPO is International Searching Authority.
