New edition of the Guide for applicants (Part 1) – How to get a European patent, April 2004
The EPO will shortly be issuing the tenth edition of the Guide for applicants (Part 1): "How to get a European patent". The new brochure takes account of changes made up to April 2004. It supersedes the ninth edition of 1992, updated in 1997.
The brochure is obtainable free of charge from the EPO's Information Offices in Munich, Vienna, The Hague and Berlin. It can also be downloaded from the "Tool box for applicants" on the EPO's website (www.european-patent-office.org), currently in PDF format, with an HTML version to follow.
