New fee rates
By Law No. 2/2004 of 27 December 2004 1 the fees for patents have been amended.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Spain are advised that from 1 January 2005 the following rates apply:
1. Publication of translations of the claims pursuant to Article 67(3) EPC:
EUR 95.70;
EUR 89.48 for translations on magnetic data carrier.
2. Publication of translations of the patent specification under Article 65 EPC:
EUR 255.14 plus EUR 10.25 for each page of the translation in excess of 22;
EUR 216.05 plus EUR 8.19 for translations on magnetic data carrier.

4. Conversion of European patent applications or patents into national patent applications or patents:
Filing fee: EUR 84.71
Fee for each foreign priority: EUR 19.61
5. Registering a transfer, licences and other rights: EUR 11.87 for each entry.
Updating of the information brochure "National law relating to the EPC"
Users of the EPO information brochure "National law relating to the EPC" (12th edition) are asked to make the appropriate amendments to the amounts of fees shown in Tables III.B, column 2, IV, column 3, VI, column 1, VII, column 2, as well as IX, column 4.
