INFORMATION FROM THE EPO
New microsite on legislative initiatives in European patent law
In order to provide comprehensive and up-to-date information on the various reform initiatives currently under discussion in the patent field in Europe as well as easy access to the relevant documents, a new Internet platform (called a microsite) has been included in the EPO's homepage.1 The focus is on:
- revision of the EPC (EPC 2000);
- organisational autonomy of the EPO's boards of appeal;
- London Agreement for the reduction of translation costs;
- European Patent Litigation Agreement (EPLA).
