These introductory courses are intended principally – but not exclusively – for candidates who have taken CEIPI's basic European patent law training course. They aim to make candidates planning to attend the 2006 CEIPI seminars familiar with the requirements for Papers C and D. They are of a purely introductory nature, offering candidates suggestions to help them prepare for the exams and for the CEIPI seminars in January/February 2006.
The courses in general will be given in English, although all participants may use French and German. Any discussions on a one-to-one basis or in small groups will take place in English, French or German as requested.
The courses are intended only for candidates sitting Papers C and D for the first time. There will be a limited number of participants, chosen on a first come, first served basis.
Each course may be taken separately.
The fee is EUR 200 per course; courses run from 08.30 to 17.15 hrs and will include lunch with the tutors if numbers permit.
The closing date for receipt of all applications is 1 August 2005.
