New fee rates
The Italian Patent and Trademark Office (UIBM) has informed us that the amount of the stamp fee in Italy has changed.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Italy are advised that from 1 June 2005 the fee for stamped paper amounts to EUR 14.62. Requests to be filed on stamped paper may also be filed on ordinary paper bearing a revenue stamp of the same value.
Updating of the information brochure "National law relating to the EPC"
Users of the EPO information brochure "National law relating to the EPC" (12th edition) are asked to make the appropriate amendments to the amounts of fees shown in Tables III.B, columns 2 and 9, IV, columns 3 and 10, VII, column 2, as well as IX, column 7.
