    Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 8 June 2006 concerning the number of copies to be filed of the documents making up the international patent application for which the European Patent Office (EPO) acts as receiving Office under the Patent Cooperation Treaty (PCT)

    The President of the European Patent Office (EPO), having regard to Rule 104(1) EPC, has decided as follows:

    Article 1

    One copy only of the documents making up the international (PCT) application shall be provided. This shall also apply to documents replacing documents making up the international (PCT) application. The obligation to file application documents in three copies is set aside.

    Article 2

    This decision shall enter into force on 1 July 2006 and shall apply to all international applications filed with the EPO as receiving Office on or after that date.
