    New fees

Some of the patent fees charged by the Swedish Patent and Registration Office have changed following the amendment of the Decree on patent formalities by Decree SFS 2006:1067.

Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Sweden should note that, from 1 October 2006, the following fees are payable for the conversion of European patent applications or patents into national patent applications or patents:

Application fee: SEK 3 000 (SEK 500 filing fee + SEK 2 500 search fee); the additional fee payable for the 11th and each subsequent claim remains SEK 150.
