Notice from the European Patent Office dated 19 December 2007 concerning the availability of a new version of the EPO Online Multipay Tool for preparing batch debit orders when using Online Fee Payment
The European Patent Office (EPO) has produced an updated version of the free EPO Online Multipay Tool, which can be used by EPO deposit account holders who use the Online Fee Payment service in My.epoline®1.
Introduced in October 2007, the updated version has the following new functions:
duplicate application number recognition,
enhanced filter customisation and
simplified data import.
In the new version, users can customise their own filters in such a way that certain fees are automatically selected for payment. They can apply these filters to imported batch payments as quick and easy way of paying the same fee for multiple applications.
Users can also enter the last date for payment of a particular fee in the XML or CSV file and this date will be displayed in the confirmation issued following payment of the fee.
The EPO Online Multipay Tool can be downloaded free of charge from the website at www.epoline.org, "Download centre" - "Software".
