Notice from the European Patent Office dated 27 November 2007 concerning the revision of the Request for grant form (Form 1001) and the Entry into the European phase form (Form 1200)
The accession of Norway1 and Croatia2 to the European Patent Convention with effect from 1 January 2008 has given rise to changes to the Request for grant form (EPA/EPO/OEB 1001, 12.07) and the Entry into the European phase form (EPA/EPO/OEB 1200, 12.07). The 12.073 versions have been amended as follows:
The footnote to Section 31 of Form 1001 and the footnote to Section 10 of Form 1200 now include the new contracting states Norway (NO) and Croatia (HR). Croatia no longer appears as an extension state in Form 1001 (Section 33.1).
The Notes on Form 1001 (Part II re Section 5) and the Notes on Form 1200 (point 19.2) have been amended to include requests for examination in Norwegian and Croatian.
