Fees for international applications

On 31 March 2008, the Assembly of the PCT Union decided to amend the PCT Schedule of Fees and reduce by 5% the international filing fee (from CHF 1 400 to CHF 1 330) for all international applications filed on or after 1 July 2008.

Please also note that, as from 1 July 2008, the equivalent amounts in euros have been amended by the International Bureau1. The table of fees for international applications published in OJ EPO 2008, 211 ff., is therefore changed as follows:

International filing fee: EUR 848 (unchanged)

Fee per sheet in excess of 30 from EUR 9 to EUR 10

Reductions (under the Schedule of Fees, item 3):

• Electronic filing (the request being in character coded format) from EUR 121 to EUR 128
• Electronic filing (in character coded format) from EUR 182 to EUR 191

Handling fee: EUR 121 (unchanged)
