New fee rates
By the Regulation of the Council of Ministers of 26 February 20081 amending the regulation on fees relating to the protection of inventions, utility models, industrial designs, trademarks, geographical indications and topographies of integrated circuits some patent fees in Poland have been changed.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Poland are advised that since 26 March 2008 the following rates have applied:
1. For the publication of the mention of the filing of the translation of the claims of the European patent application pursuant to Article 67(3) EPC: PLN 90
2. For the publication of the mention of the filing of a translation of the European patent or of a corrected or amended translation, or for making the translation of the European patent publicly available pursuant to Article 65 EPC: PLN 90 up to 10 pages plus PLN 10 for each subsequent page.

4. Conversion of European patent applications or patents into national patent applications or patents:
Filing fee: PLN 550, or PLN 500 if the application is filed electronically, plus PLN 25 for each page of the description, claims and drawings in excess of 20;
extra fee for a declaration claiming priority: PLN 100 for each priority (unchanged)
5. Registering transfers, licences and other rights: PLN 70

Users of this brochure (13th edition) should amend Tables III.B, column 2, IV, column 3, VI, column 1, VII, column 2, and IX, column 4 accordingly.
