Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 5 February 2010 revising the basic fee for the European qualifying examination
The President of the European Patent Office,
Having consulted the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office,
Has decided as follows:
Article 1
Pursuant to Article 3(1) of the Rules relating to Fees, the amount of the basic fee for the European qualifying examination for professional representatives "EQE" (Article 17 of the Regulation on the European qualifying examination for professional representatives before the European Patent Office (REE, Supplement to OJ EPO 5/2009) and Rules 7 to 9 of the Implementing Provisions to the REE) shall be fixed at EUR 130.
Article 2
The amount of the basic fee for the EQE as laid down in point 12 of the extract from the schedule of fees annexed to the decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 15 November 2009 (OJ EPO 2009, 616) shall be replaced by the amount laid down in Article 1 of this decision.
Article 3
The basic fee laid down in Article 1 shall be binding for payments made on or after 1 April 2010.
Article 4
This decision shall enter into force on 1 April 2010.
