    Decisions of the President of the EPO

    Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 21 November 2013 concerning the entrustment to non-examining staff of certain duties incumbent on the examining or opposition divisions

    The President of the European Patent Office, having regard to Rule 11(3) EPC, has decided as follows:

    Article 1

    Entrustment to formalities officers of specific duties incumbent on the examining or opposition divisions of the EPO

    (1) Points 25 and 26 of Article 1 of the decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 12 July 2007 concerning the entrustment to non-examining staff of certain duties normally the responsibility of the examining or opposition divisions (see Special edition 3, OJ EPO 2007, F.2) are deleted.

    (2) Points 24 and 25 of Article 2 of the said decision are likewise deleted.

    Article 2

    Entry into force

    This decision shall enter into force on 1 January 2014.
