New fee rates

By the new State Fees Act of 10 December 20141 some patent fees payable to the Estonian Patent Office have been changed.

Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Estonia are advised that from 1 January 2015 the following rates apply:

1. Publication of translations of the claims pursuant to Article 67(3) EPC: EUR 32

2. Publication and correction of translations of the European patent under Article 65 EPC: EUR 45

Surcharge for extension of the time limit for filing the translation: EUR 32

4. Conversion of European patent applications or patents into national patent applications or patents:

Filing fee: EUR 225 + EUR 13 for the 11th and each subsequent claim

Conversion into a national application for a utility model:

Filing fee: EUR 105

5. Registering transfers, licences and other rights: EUR 32

Users of this brochure (16th edition) should amend Tables III.B, column 2, IV, columns 5, 8 and 9, VI, column 1, VII, columns 2 and 5, and IX, column 4, accordingly.
