New fee rates

By Order of 10 June 20151 some patent fees payable to the French Institute for Industrial Property have been changed.

Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in France are advised that from 1 July 2015 the following rates apply:

1. Publication of the translation or of the corrected translation of the claims pursuant to Article 67(3) EPC: EUR 36

2. Renewal fees:

3. Fee for appeal: EUR 156

4. Conversion of European patent applications or patents into national patent applications or patents:

• filing fee for paper filings: EUR 36 / for electronic filings: EUR 26
• fee for a search report: EUR 520

Fee for producing copies of the EP application and transmitting them to the designated states: EUR 26 plus EUR 0.75 per page and copy

5. Registering transfers, licences and other rights:

EUR 27 per right designated in the request for registration up to a maximum amount of EUR 270 where a request for registration concerns more than 10 rights
