Delegation of functions and powers from the President of the European Patent Office to the President of the Boards of Appeal

In accordance with Rules 12a and 12d EPC as inserted by decision of the Administrative Council dated 30 June 2016 (CA/D 6/16, OJ EPO 2016, A100) and with the decision of the Administrative Council of 30 June 2016 setting up a Boards of Appeal Committee and adopting its Regulations (CA/D 7/16, OJ EPO 2016, A101), on 14 February 2017 the President of the European Patent Office signed the Act delegating certain functions and powers to the President of the Boards of Appeal, Carl Josefsson. This Act of Delegation entered into force on 1 March 2017, when the President of the Boards of Appeal took up his duties.
