Notice from the European Patent Office dated 22 April 2020 concerning the electronic filing of documents

In accordance with Rule 89bis.1(d) PCT, and pursuant to Section 710(b) of the Administrative Instructions under the PCT, the European Patent Office has notified the International Bureau (IB) of WIPO that, as from 1 July 2020, it will not accept international applications filed with the EPO acting as receiving Office (RO) using the PCT-SAFE filing software.

This notice is without prejudice to any other permitted means of filing international applications with the EPO acting as RO.
