New fee rates
The Romanian State Office for Inventions and Trademarks has informed us that by Director General Order No. 116/04.10.2022, the amounts in Romanian currency of some patent fees were changed.1
The amounts in euros are unchanged.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Romania are advised that as of 1 January 2023 the rates below apply.
1. Publication of translations of the patent specification under Article 65 EPC:
In the case of publication within the additional period: EUR 200 or RON 990 plus EUR 5 or RON 25 for each page of the translation in excess of 20
