Corrigendum, OJ EPO 2025, A16

The annex to the decision of the Administrative Council of 10 December 2024 introducing gender-neutral language in the Implementing Regulations to the Convention on the Grant of European Patents (CA/D 20/24) as published in the Official Journal (OJ EPO 2025, A16) contains the English version of Rules 36, 39 and 160 EPC that entered into force on 1 April 2025.

For the purpose of clarification, editorial notes have been added to the publication, reproducing the version of Rules 36, 39 and 160 EPC as temporarily in force since 16 December 2024 and until the date Article 5s(3) of Regulation (EU) No 833/2014 ceases to have effect, according to the decision of the Administrative Council of 10 December 2024 amending Rules 36, 39 and 160 of the Implementing Regulations to the European Patent Convention (CA/D 13/24, see OJ EPO 2024, A105).

This correction has already been made in the publication of the decision contained in OJ EPO 2025, A16.
