For these reasons it is decided that:
1. The decision under appeal is set aside.
2. The case is remitted to the first instance with the order to grant the patent with claims 1 to 4 according to the main request (submitted at the begining of the oral proceedings as the first auxiliary request - see item V of the present decision) and a description to be adapted thereto.
