The fee for printing the European patent specification provided for in Article 2, item 8 of the Rules relating to Fees is to be calculated according to the number of pages of the text in which the Examining Division intends to grant the European patent (Rule 51(4)EPC).

For these reasons, it is decided that:
The appeal against the decision dated 13 February 1981 of the Head of the Formalities Section of Directorate-General 2 of the European Patent Office acting for the Examining Division and the application for reimbursement of the appeal fee are dismissed.
