For these reasons it is decided that:
1. The decision under appeal is set aside.
2. The case is remitted to the department of first instance with the order to maintain the patent on the basis of :
pages 3 to 5 of the description filed at the oral proceedings and pages 6 to 13 of the description of the patent as granted,
claims 1 to 12 of the main request filed at the oral proceedings,
figures 1 to 5 of the patent as granted.
