The request may be filed by the proprietor of a European patent or of a Unitary Patent or their duly appointed representative (see 7.28.2.1). In the case of a transfer of a Unitary Patent, the request for re‑establishment of rights may only be filed by the registered proprietor (see 2.2.52).
