INFORMATION FROM THE EPO
Notice from the European Patent Office dated 27 May 1994 concerning the revised Request for Grant form
Under Rule 26(1) EPC, the Office is introducing a revised Request for Grant form (see below)1 for use from 1 July 1994. Applicants may however continue to use the old form2 until 30 December 1994.
The revised form has a new Section 43 enabling holders of EPO deposit accounts to request automatic debiting, under the new Arrangements for the automatic debiting procedure in conjunction with the Arrangements for deposit accounts as amended3. Former Sections 43 to 48 have been renumbered and the Notes amended accordingly.

1 The revised form ("EPA/EPO/OEB Form 1001 07.94") should be available by the end of June 1994. It is obtainable free of charge from the EPO (preferably from Vienna, but also from Munich, The Hague and Berlin) and the central industrial property offices of the Contracting States.
2 OJ EPO 1994, 91. The previous version (as per the notice from the EPO dated 16 October 1992, OJ EPO 1992, 757) may still be used until 31 August 1994 (OJ EPO 1994, 91).
