Notice from the European Patent Office dated 20 September 1995 concerning the revised Request for Grant form
A revised Request for Grant form1 has recently been introduced. Section 34 now includes the new extension states of Latvia and Lithuania, Lithuania having been added when the 07.94 version of Form 1001 was reprinted. Section A.8 (relating to the filing of a translation of the priority document) of the Receipt for documents (page 6) has been removed because the new version of Rule 38(4) EPC does not now require this translation until later.
It is recommended that applicants use the revised form, although copies of the previous version2 may be used up.
