New fee rates
By Law No. 65/1997 of 30 December 19971 the fees for patents have been amended.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Spain are advised that from 1 January 1998 the following rates apply:
1. Publication of translations of the claims pursuant to Article 67(3) EPC:
ESP 14 710 (ESP 13 755 for translations on magnetic data carrier).
2. Publication of translation of the patent specification under Article 65 EPC:
ESP 39 220 plus ESP 1 575 for each page of the translation in excess of the 22nd (ESP 33 210 plus ESP 1 260 for translation on magnetic data carrier).
3. Renewal fees:

Updating of the information brochure "National law relating to the EPC"
Users of the EPO information brochure "National law relating to the EPC" (10th edition) are asked to make the appropriate amendments to the amounts of fees shown in Tables III.B, column 2, IV, column 3, VI, column 1, and IX, column 4.
