New fee rates
By Patents, Trade Marks, Copyright and Designs (Fees) Rules, 1997, dated 9 October 19971 some patent fees have been changed.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Ireland are advised that from 1 November 1997 the following two items are affected:
1. Renewal Fees:
3rd year: IEP 50
All renewal fees for subsequent years remain unchanged.
2. Conversion of European patent applications or patents into national patent applications or patents:
filing fee: IEP 100
Updating of the EPO information brochure "National law relating to the EPC"
Users of the EPO information brochure "National Law relating to the EPC" (10th edition) are asked to make the appropriate amendments to the amounts of fees shown in Tables VI, column 1, and VII, column 2.
