Under Article 4, paragraph 5 of the Regulation on the European qualifying examination, the President of the European Patent Office has appointed with effect from 1 March 2010 F. Andres (CH) as member and Deputy Chairman of the Examination Board. His term of office will expire on 31 December 2010.
