New fee rates
By Decree No. 143/2010 of 26 February 20101, certain patent fees payable to the Finnish Patent and Registration Office have changed.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Finland are advised that from 1 April 2010 the following rates apply:
1. Publication of translations of the patent specification under Article 65 EPC:
EUR 450 (EUR 350 when the translation has been filed online)
2. Renewal fees:

(a) Filing fee: EUR 450 + EUR 40 for the 11th and each subsequent claim (EUR 350 + EUR 40 for the 11th and each subsequent claim when filed online)
(b) Translation fee: EUR 70 for each page
4. Registering transfers, licences and other rights: EUR 50

Users of this brochure (14th edition) should amend Tables IV, column 5, VI, column 1, VII, column 2, and IX, columns 4 and 6 accordingly.
