Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 2 February 2012 revising the basic fee for the European qualifying examination
The President of the European Patent Office,
Having consulted the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office,
Has decided as follows:
Article 1
Pursuant to Article 3(1) of the Rules relating to Fees, the amount of the basic fee for the European qualifying examination for professional representatives "EQE" (Article 17 of the Regulation on the European qualifying examination for professional representatives before the European Patent Office (REE, supplement to OJ EPO 12/2011) and Rules 7 to 9 of the implementing provisions to the REE) shall be fixed at EUR 200.
Article 2
The basic fee laid down in Article 1 shall be binding for payments made on or after 1 April 2012.
Article 3
This decision shall enter into force on 1 April 2012 and shall replace the decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 2 February 2011 (OJ EPO 2011, 214).
