New fee rates
By Law No. 2/2012 of 29 June 20121 some patent fees payable to the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office have been changed.
Applicants for and proprietors of European patents with effect in Spain are advised that from 1 July 2012 the following rates apply:
1. Publication of translations of the claims pursuant to Article 67(3) EPC: EUR 105.67;
EUR 89.82 for translations on magnetic data carriers
2. Publication of translations of the patent specification under Article 65 EPC:
EUR 314.60 plus EUR 12.64 for each page of the translation in excess of 22;
EUR 267.41 plus EUR 10.74 for translations on magnetic data carriers

4. Conversion of European patent applications or patents into national patent applications or patents:
Filing fee: EUR 72.72 (EUR 61.81 for electronic filings)
Fee for each foreign priority: EUR 19.27 (EUR 16.38 for electronic filings)
5. Registering transfers, licences and other rights: EUR 12.98 for each entry (EUR 11.03 in electronic form).
Registering a change of the applicant's/patentee's name: EUR 16.06 for each entry, up to a maximum amount of EUR 2 680.79 (EUR 13.65 for each entry, up to a maximum amount of EUR 2 278.67, in electronic form)
