Disciplinary matters - Appointment of members of the Disciplinary Board of the European Patent Office

1. Under Article 9 of the Regulation on discipline for professional representatives (OJ EPO 1978, 91 ff), the President of the European Patent Office has appointed to the Board, for a three-year term, the following legally qualified members of the European Patent Office:

Eskil Waage, reappointed with effect from 1 January 2023, Chloé Thrainer, with effect from 1 January 2023, Britta Baldus, with effect from 1 January 2023.

2. The Board thus comprises six legally qualified members of the European Patent Office, namely Hans-Christian Haugg (Chair) (with effect from 1 January 2021), Britta Baldus, Vincent Menendez (with effect from 1 January 2021), Chloé Thrainer, Pierre Treichel (with effect from 1 January 2021) and Eskil Waage and three members of the Institute of Professional Representatives before the European Patent Office, namely Gemma Campabadal Monfa (with effect from 1 January 2021), Bruno Quantin (with effect from 1 January 2021) and Arni Vilhjalmsson (with effect from 1 January 2021).
