Disciplinary matters - Appointment of members of the Disciplinary Board of the European Patent Office

1. Under Article 9 of the Regulation on discipline for professional representatives (OJ EPO 1978, 91 ff, OJ EPO 2008, 14), the President of the European Patent Office has appointed the following legally qualified members of the European Patent Office to the Board, each for a three-year term:

Vincent Menendez (Chair), Veronika Herrle and Catherine Jenewein, all with effect from 1 January 2024.

The President of the European Patent Office has appointed the following members of the Institute of Professional Representatives to the Board, each for a three-year term:

Heike Vogelsang-Wenke, Gunnar Örn Hardarson and Patrick Pierre Pascal Marollé, all with effect from 1 January 2024.

2. The Board thus comprises six legally qualified members of the European Patent Office, namely Vincent Menendez (Chair), Britta Baldus, Catherine Jenewein, Chloé Thrainer, Veronika Herrle and Eskil Waage, and four members of the Institute of Professional Representatives, namely Heike Vogelsang-Wenke, Wolfram Hubertus Müller, Gunnar Örn Hardarson and Patrick Pierre Pascal Marollé.
