Decision of the President of the European Patent Office dated 21 January 2002 concerning the payment of fees and costs at the Information Office in Munich
The President of the European Patent Office,
having regard to Article 5(2) of the Rules relating to Fees,
has decided as follows:
Article 1
Credit cards shall also be accepted in payment of administrative fees for photocopies made by EPO staff or by the requester in the course of file inspection at the Munich Information Office (Rule 94(2) EPC, point 2.1(7.2) of the Schedule of fees and costs).
Article 2
The same shall also apply to purchases of patent information products, other copies of EPO documents and Office publications.
Article 3
The EPO shall accept EUROCARD (MasterCard), VISA and JCB credit cards.
Article 4
This decision shall enter into force on 1 February 2002.
