Global patent index (GPI) combines the EPO worldwide bibliographic data collection available in Espacenet with the detailed search capabilities offered by the Patent information services for experts.

Business use
GPI allows users to carry out worldwide state-of-the-art searches and weekly patent watches.

Access
GPI can be accessed via Patent information services for experts.

To try GPI free of charge for a month, fill out the Registration form. You will receive your username and password by email.

GPI is a cumulative database updated on a weekly basis (every Friday at 12.00 CET).

• 100 search criteria covering bibliographic data, abstracts, citations and several classification types
• use of OPS to display legal status, representative image and inpadoc family
• customisation of result list and document content

A yearly subscription costs EUR 740 per user.
