EASY in Finland
EASY is a software program which has been developed by the EPO. It has a module called EP-EASY which enables applicants to file their applications for European patents in electronic form.
As stated in the Notice from the President of the European Patent Office dated 22 July 1997, the program is available to all applicants and applications for European patents filed using this program must comply with the prescribed conditions.1
On 1 July 1998 the Finnish Patent Office (Patentti- ja rekisterihallitus) in Helsinki joined the list of central industrial property offices at which EASY-applications shall be filed.
