Ilaria Cinelli is a biomedical engineer, space healthcare expert and innovator. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in biomedical engineering from the University of Pisa in Italy, and her doctorate from the National University of Ireland in Galway. She is a member of the Aerospace Medical Association’s Council and the IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology AdCOM. Ilaria is one of the most influential women in space, and the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs has named her a mentor and role model.
