Online Filing
Use the Online Filing software to file EP, Euro-PCT and PCT applications and requests for unitary effect; submissions in opposition, appeal, limitation and revocation proceedings before the EPO; and subsequently filed documents for all EP and UP proceedings. You can also use it to file applications and documents with participating national offices.
New
Version 5.15 enables the use of the EPO account with two-factor authentication.
The EPO account for eOLF 5.15 works for EP and PCT submissions to the EPO as filing office, receiving office or in any other capacity.
Smart cards and Webform Filing discontinued
As of 1 January 2025, EPO online services can only be accessed via two-factor authentication. Smart cards are no longer supported. Additionally, Webform Filing has been discontinued and is no longer ava available for filing with the EPO. Our Online Filing 2.0 tool provides all its features and more!
If you have a smart card but didn't manage to activate two-factor authentication using your smart card before the end of 2024, please contact us at epo.org/support for help activating two-factor authentication for your smart card account. If you already activated two-factor authentication for your smart card account, just sign in to your account using your email address, password, and your preferred two-factor authentication option.
