1. The use of "other means of communication" (Rule 24(1) and 36(5) EPC) must be expressly permitted by the President of the EPO, before parties may use those means of communication for filing documents with a department of the EPO, including the EPO Board of Appeal; cf point 3.
2. An appeal filed via epoline® cannot have any legal effect absent explicit permission of the President of the EPO; cf point 10.
