IP assessment: how to improve informed decision-making
This online event will comprise three consecutive sessions assessing technologies and patents. It is designed for R&D project leaders, entre- and intrapreneurs, intellectual capital managers in small and medium-sized enterprises, start-ups and technology transfer offices, as well as investors.
Evaluating the risks and opportunities associated with innovation projects is crucial when developing ideas on how to gain market acceptance for new products or services. However, this process can often lack clarity and sophistication. To help demystify IP assessment, the European Patent Office has partnered with the European IP Helpdesk to provide an interactive workshop for business decision makers, IP professionals in businesses and technology licensing offices at research institutions.
This online event offers effective strategies and a specially designed tool (IPScore) that you can use to evaluate your research projects and innovations. Beyond giving you a clearer picture of their commercialisation potential, it will also support strategic decision-making by helping you to set priorities that save time and resources.
Participants are invited to attend all three sessions and apply the methodology presented to their own products and services.
