Can I continue to use my smart card with eOLF after installing the patch that enables using the EPO account with two-factor authentication?

Yes, but only if the smart card hasn’t expired and only until the end of 2024, when smart cards will no longer work for accessing MyEPO services.

After installing the patch, each smart card user should also activate their preferred two-factor authentication alternatives. For more information on how to do this, see Get access.

Once activated, users can choose each time they sign in whether to use their smart card (provided it is still valid) or one of the two-factor alternatives that they have activated.
