What will change from 1 January 2025?

Users will no longer be allowed to use the smart card to access EPO services, as the EPO smart card will no longer be supported.  Instead, they will be able to use their EPO account with two-factor authentication. 

For National Office online services, where the use of an EPO smart card was allowed, please contact the corresponding National Office for information about what alternatives are available.
