An online user consultation has been launched on proposed reforms to the EPO boards of appeal.
An orientation document on the reforms was presented by the EPO to the Administrative Council in its March session and met with broad support. The aim is to ensure and increase organisational and managerial autonomy of the boards of appeal, the perception of their independence as well as their efficiency.
As the EPO begins work on concrete proposals for the Administrative Council, we would welcome your feedback. The user consultation will run until 30 June 2015.
