Portugal is still evaluating the possibility of simultaneous protection between a European patent with unitary effect and a national patent.Simultaneous protection is possible between a classic European patent and a national Patent since the approval of Decree Law 110/2018, 10th December, The Industrial Property Code. The same principle will be applied to a Unitary Patent and a national patent. |
