What are the “supporting documents”?
Supporting documents are the documents which an applicant must submit to the OLE together with the PPH request form (EPO Form 1009). These documents are:
- a copy of all OEE work products (or the latest work product(s) in the international phase of a PCT application) and a translation thereof into an EPO official language, where required;
- a copy of all claims determined to be patentable/allowable by the OEE and a translation thereof into an EPO official language, where required;
- a copy of all non-patent documents cited in the OEE work products, where applicable. In practice, it suffices when applicants submit a list of all cited non-patent documents.
