Following the announcement of the beta version of the new EPO website a couple of weeks ago, we are now pleased to announce the official relaunch of www.epo.org. The website's new structure and design cater to the needs of professionals, business partners and regular users, allowing for more intuitive navigation, quicker access to information and improved search functions.
The new website provides a single point of entry to the Office's services, including EP Espacenet, the European Patent Register, Online Filing and Online Fee Payment. Espacenet and the Register have been re‑designed, and adaptations to the look and feel of the Online Services portal (formerly epoline) are also in progress.
Two new search functions have been implemented, with another on the way. The EPO site search is now powered by the Google search engine, and searching in Espacenet is now possible from the header on each page. A new search engine for board of appeal decisions is being implemented and will be available soon.
These new features and improvements are based on extensive surveys and tests and on feedback from our users.
With this in mind, we would like to thank the users who gave us feedback on the beta site, and continue to welcome your feedback on the new website. Please write to us at website@epo.org.
