4.4.006For electronic filings (see point 4.3.007), an acknowledgement of receipt is generated immediately. For paper filings, the EPO acknowledges receipt of subsequently filed items on the forms provided for this purpose and completed by the applicant (EPO Forms 1037 and 1038).
