2.6 Reduction in examination fee 

Where applicants having their residence or principal place of business within the territory of a contracting state having an official language other than English, French or German and nationals of that state who are resident abroad make use of the options provided for under Art. 14(4), the examination fee is reduced under certain circumstances (Rule 6(3) to (7) in conjunction with Art. 14(1) RFees) (see A‑X, 9.2.1 and 9.2.3 A‑X, 9.3.1 and A-X, 9.3.3).
