4.4.4Acknowledgement of receipt

4.4.006For electronic filings (see point 4.3.007), an acknowledgement of receipt is generated immediately. For paper filings, the EPO indicates receipt of subsequently filed items on EPO Form 1038 and makes this form and the associated documents available for viewing in the European Patent Register.
